Nokia Working on Solar Charging and 2K Display in Lumia 1525

2014 has just begun, we have seen a few 6-inch phablets being launched this year including the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320. But that’s not all for Nokia, the company is nearing its acquisition by Microsoft. Nokia is on its heels this year and is planning to deliver some good phones to its fans. We have heard a lot of rumors of the Nokia Normandy, A Dual SIM windows phone and another Nokia tablet.

There was a time when Nokia was out of business for a long which almost brought it the current Blackberry like situation, but then the master stroke to making windows smartphones helped the company revive. There are other manufacturers also who make Windows phones, but Nokia ranks No. 1 in this genre.

A new set of rumors have surfaced in the market hinting that Nokia might be working on 2 Lumia smartphones dubbed as Lumia 1820 and Lumia 1525 and that these smartphones may have 2K resolution. Remember the Vivo Xplay 3S, the first smartphone to have 2K resolution? Once Lumia smartphones come into market with 2K resolution no one would ever remember Vivo Xplay 3S. Nokia makes quality smartphones and does offer good service to its customers.

Nokia may actually bring out the Lumia 1525 with solar charging capabilities to give a tough competition to its rivals Apple and Samsung. It is also rumored that both these smartphones may have Snapdragon 805 chipset on board, currently the fastest mobile processor in the world (at least on paper it is). With these smartphones Nokia will carry its Lytro like camera feature with Pureview camera on board. Don’t expect 41MP camera on these phones, but they are likely to come up with a higher resolution cameras on them.

Lumia 1820 and Lumia 1525 are both exciting phones according to us for now. What really interests us the most is the Lumia 1525, which will have solar charging ability, this smartphone could finally solve the low battery issue on today’s phones.
