Lumia 640 XL 1 Year Review

Its been a long break since my last post.

This post dedicates to a user review of the Lumia 640 XL after using for 1 year.

Appearance :

The Lumia 640 XL features a 5.7  phablet for budget lovers. It costs ₹13000 in India while 249$ in the US. It has a 13MP rear camera with flash alongwith a 5MP front shooter. The phone features the recent Snapdragon 400 Quad Core CPU alongwith a 1GB of RAM.

Software :

The Software currently running on the phone is Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10586.29.

Review :

The Lumia 640 XL was one of the promising devices at the Mobile World Congress 2015, held in Barcelona, Spain. It was a "crowd puller" according to many major journalists. But is it a potential mid-range killer?

Major Flaws experienced with the phone :

1) The Camera gets stimmery at times.

2) Multitasking can be a bit problem while handling with major apps.

Things I Loved in the phone :

1) The phone supports Windows 10 beautifully.

2) The rear camera shoots awesome photos in the dark as well as day(camera samples soon).

3) The design

Many of the readers might have this question whether they should still buy it or not?

If you are considering in getting a budget Windows 10 phablet, then yes, you can. If you are searching for a phone, wait for MWC 2016 where potential Lumia 650 will be released.
