Today we will talk about the comparison between two new devices, The Samsung Galaxy Grand II and the Nokia Lumia 1320.

About the Samsung Galaxy Grand II :  

The Galaxy Grand II is a new addition to the Galaxy ranges of devices by Samsung. It is the successor of the very popular Galaxy Grand which was announced in 21st January 2013. 

About the Nokia Lumia 1320:

Display : 

The Samsung Galaxy Grand II comes with a 5.24 TFT capacitive touch screen whereas the Lumia 1320 has a 6-inch IPS LCD screen. The Lumia 1320 also sports in Corning Gorilla Glass 3 along-with Clear Black Display, both of which are absent on the Samsung Galaxy Grand II. The Samsung Galaxy Grand II, due to its small screen size wins when it comes to pixel density where it's pixel density is 280ppi whereas the Lumia 1320 has a pixel density of 245ppi.

Memory : 

Both the smartphones have 8GB of inbuilt memory along-with an micro SD expansion slot up to 64GB. The Samsung Galaxy Grand II has its multitasking a little better because of its 1.5GB of ram compared to the 1GB in the Nokia Lumia 1320.

Camera :

The Samsung Galaxy Grand II has a 8MP rear camera whereas the Lumia 1320 has 5MP. The Samsung Galaxy Grand also has a 1.9MP front camera whereas the Lumia 1320 settles on VGA.

OS and Chipset :

The Samsung Galaxy Grand II has Android 4.3 Jelly Bean built in. Although, the latest android update(4.4.2) aka Kitkat is already unveiled, the device might get an update soon.

The Nokia Lumia 1320 features in Windows Phone 8 with the latest GDR 3+Lumia Black update built in. 

The Nokia Lumia 1320 wins in when it comes to processors. It has 1.7 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 quad core processor whereas the Galaxy Grand has A7 1.2GHz quad core processor.

Connectivity :

Both the handsets have the same connectivity features except the Nokia Lumia 1320 is equipped in to support 4G where as the Samsung Galaxy Grand II settles itself on 3G.

Price : 

The Nokia Lumia 1320 is expected to cost around 23000INR and the Samsung Galaxy Grand II is expected to price between 22000INR to 24000INR which is nearly the same. 

Conclusion :

The Android lovers can buy this handset during the upcoming holidays, while the ones who want to shift to Windows Phone ecosystem along with a better smartphone processor, display and 4G connectivity, can shell out some more money to get their hands on the latest Nokia Lumia 1320.
